Hello friends sail

Does anyone have experience with a wireless - antenna?

Marine - Antenne. I am interested in a verve W Marine - Antenna.
This is connected with USB to the notebook. The cable is only 3.50 m long. But I want to mount the antenna on our mizzen mast (as high as possible above), thus the cable I would have to extend to about 7 meters. I assume that when a USB - cable is not working.

Does anyone know a better solution? I appreciate any tips.

Finally, the well-deserved vacations are moved up. After much work on the ship we are sailing at 16:07:07 on in the direction of Umag. After Einklarieren in Croatia is the next day, unfortunately, under power, on to the quiet Veruda Soline Bay. Bright sunshine, without the slightest breeze accompanied us the next few days. The engine must often replace the wind, because at 22:07, we must be in Zadar. Lilian's sister Elsbeth with daughter Conny be expected. We are in the very expensive city Marina (nearly 100 CHF / night). This has the advantage of being easily reached on foot or by small ferry rowing boat to the old town. Read the full post »
