On Sundays we make clear the ship and sail with breezes on to Syracuse. Brigitte and Ueli it is the first sailing experience and enjoy both the 30 nautical miles sailing distance in good weather.
We put in the marina and all look forward to a warm shower. This is nothing but the showers are being built. Nevertheless, the marina will cost 40.00 €, from June 55 €. Is showered on the ship.
The next day we go into the large bay at anchor, and our friends enjoy the first night at anchor. A little schauckelige night, but they like it. 
As the two leave the next day with the car, we can make them a trip to the nearby Noto. Noto is called the most beautiful baroque town in Sicily and is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is not promised too much. The beautiful palaces, with their typical balconies give a beautiful impression. We visit a small museum with archaeological finds, mixed with local modern art. Even the small hall of mirrors in Louis XVI style and the beautiful ancient city theater are well worth a visit. Long could stay here, but unfortunately our bus travels to Syracuse soon. (Since there is only 3 Buss holiday is a day and every hour, not one.) 
We say goodbye to our friends, they are still touring the island by car, and get on the bus.
Just on the ship leaves the strong wind and we are glad to be back. Over the next few hours, we observe that keeps the anchor in the evening because of the wind after a bit. So we are still without an anchor for a night guard.
