We get out in Salé and stroll through the beautiful old medina. We are fascinated, not tourists, Moroccan Pure Life. When we arrive at the marina Bouregreg we will receive a warm welcome in the office. We are encouraged that on Saturday the conditions for entrance to the River Qued Bouregreg, should be good. The marina is well protected here was something Flussaufwärts.Die Marina opened about a year before new, super-built one is really sure. The prices are very cheap, and Trans Ocean members get another 20% discount. (11-13m approx 238.00 CHF per month for the season September - June, see also www.bouregregmarina.com).

The ships we meet Marcel and Christa, a Swiss couple, who already is almost 3 months here in Salé. The two rave about the good Marina, the great people here, the "social live" and the great craftsmen of the Yachties who make a good price for almost everything. Also working on this vessel is to be good.

Yes, now just have to flip everything that we arrive here on Saturday!

We will visit the Kasbah of Rabat, on the other side of the river (for 0.20 CHF will be paddled from one side to the other). From there we see how the waves break at the entrance. And make the entrance dangerous.

The Marina of Casablanca is already under construction for 3 years. Bridges and pontoons are already in place, but is probably the Marina opened in 2012. Some yachts are located in the commercial port, but there we are not admitted. The competent person who could issue us the permit does not operate on Sundays. (Later we learned that a boat from entering the port of Casablanca, was denied.) So no way to leave our ship in Casablanca. But anyway, the visit was worth the harbor, we are impressed by the size of the fishing port.
