Minutes from Ceuta we get on a bus in 10 minutes. at the nearby border. These we pass on foot and plunge immediately into another world. Surrounded by many Moroccans, we are asking of where to go, tourist guides would be happy to sell you a day trip. But we want to be traveling alone. A bus to Tetouan we find nowhere (we later find out that this can not go directly to the border, otherwise the taxi business would be affected.)
Along the coast we go by taxi to Tetouan city 45 km away. We look forward to the great Medina (old town), which was started in 1997 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Since we have to wait for our radio repaired, we have yet to visit some day the city. We enjoy our togetherness again and the time flies by with sightseeing, shopping at the market and the everyday life on the ship. There is much to see: We visit the Teatro Greco theatro-greco-siracusa.jpg and the Teatro Romana. theatro-romana.jpg The Teatro Greco is provided with a large grandstand performances will take place every evening. We would have attended one, but we are not convinced by the description. No orchestra, no singing, music boxes and a little speech, the prices for this experiment we are too high. siracusa-5.jpg We are fascinated by Orecchio di Dionisio. flusterndes-ohr-des-dionisio.jpg Supposedly been "Ear of Dionysius" was created by man and must have served as a prison for enemies of the state of the tyrant Dionysius. Whispered words in the interior of the cave are amplified so loud that you can hear them outside. Dionysius was able to allegedly learned of the plans of his enemies. We had the good fortune to spend a short time alone in this place and tested the echo of our voices. How wonderful it would be here a small choir to listen or to sing with! Read full post »

A sailing outperforms the others. The journey to Brindisi's wonderful, we would prefer to just keep gesegelt.Brindisi has a large natural harbor one drives past the industrial area with large investors for the freighter, then sifted the bollards of the ferries, and soon one sees the beautiful historic city of Brindisi.

Vis-à-vis the old town in the district Cesal stands a large monument which is dedicated to the seafarers. After 250 steps you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view.
