Once again we are on the Whisper. By the summer it is in the Marina of Sant Andrea in San Giorgio di Nogaro. We actually prefer it when our ship floats in water, but for some work, it is of advantage on the box to be on land. Whisper of our we have a wonderful view of the marina and the adjacent river Corno. 
A big to-do list is our motivation for all the work to be done.
First, we look forward to the installation of solar panels. The design with the various connecting and fastening parts of Phoenix Mecano AG www.phoenix-mecano.ch/de/frame2.html delivers outstanding performance. The panels can thus very well be facing the sun.

Beat together with Hans Peter's brother, we transform the Whisper in the 60 nautical miles further north lies Marina Caponord in the Laguna di Marano. And now the work begins.
In the bow hanging down the ceiling panels. A typical Amel - disease! Hans Peter's since the trade and at once the ceiling reupholstered. Is connected with the whole lot of dirt and dust and toilsome loops, and cockroaches.

Now we are one step closer to our dream. Faster than expected, we have signed on the purchase contract for a 17:02:05 Amel Sharki. But first things first.
End of January 05 I discover an advertisement on the homepage of TO, Trans-Ocean, Association for the Advancement of deep-sea sailing. An Amel Sharki with mooring Jesolo Italy is offered. Quickly do I contact with the seller and we will receive a CD with 180 actual photos. Time and again these are just least looked at and studied. Following the descriptions, plans, photographs and the many other investigations, this could really be a suitable vessel for our plans.
We make an appointment in mid-February and are looking forward to the huge old lady.
Full of expectation, we drive to Venice. In Marina di Jesolo, we can see the Whisper and the same may also dwell on it. Everything goes very fast. The ship makes us a well-maintained, good impression. After a thorough examination and a great test drive, we have both decided to buy this ship.
Now we need to rewrite the flag on the stage.
