Once again we are on the Whisper. By the summer it is in the Marina Sant Andrea in San Giorgio di Nogaro. We actually prefer it if our ship floats in water, but for some work, it is of advantage on the box to be on land. From our Whisper, we have a wonderful view of the marina and the adjacent river Corno.
A big to-do list is our goal for all work to be done.
First, we look forward to the installation of the solar panel. The construction of the various fasteners and attaching parts of Phoenix Mecano AG www.phoenix-mecano.ch/de/frame2.html works perfectly. The panels can thus very well be facing the sun.

Together with Beat, Hans Peters brother, we transform the Whisper in the 60 nautical miles further north lies Marina Capo Nord in the Laguna di Marano. And now the work begins.
In the bow hanging down the ceiling panel. A typical Amel - disease! Hans Peter has since professionals and once the ceiling is newly acquired. Connected the whole thing with a lot of dirt and dust and laborious sanding and scraping.

Now we are closer to our dream a step. Quicker than thought we signed the purchase contract for an on 17:02:05 Amel Sharki. But first things first.
End of January 2005 I discovered an advertisement in the Official Website of TO, Trans-Ocean, Association for the promotion of deep sea sailing. Amel Sharki with a berth Jesolo, Italy is offered. I quickly I contact the seller and we get a CD with 180 recent photos. Time and again, these are precisely de viewed and studied. According to the descriptions, plans, photos and many other investigations that could really be a suitable vessel for our plans.
We make an appointment in mid-February and are looking forward to the huge old lady.
Of expectation, we drive to Venice. In Marina di Jesolo we can visit the Whisper and may even live right on it. Everything goes very fast. The ship makes for us a clean, good impression. After thorough investigation and a great test drive, we have both decided to buy this ship.

Now we just need the rewriting of the flag on the stage.
