Read full post » Finally we are back on the Whisper and feel really comfortable, although the temperatures could be warmer.
We have big plans and have already done a lot.
The new EOS 400D SLR digital camera, we photographed the interior of our ship wide to fit into this at last the home page under the heading of ship. The small digital camera, this was hardly possible.
Hans Peter was now about 3 hours on the mast and installed the new hardware for the second stay, and further work was done. Patience in filing work was required. With cold hands and the never-ending search for the right tool in the hanging bag that was not an easy task. But now the hardware is fixed and we can just hook the new Stag yet. At the bow we have to attach the base plate. Let's see if we are creating the polyester work at these temperatures.
Tomorrow we will get the liferaft maintenance. We can watch Mrs. Furrer at work and are eager to inspect the life raft for once in their inflated state. Of course, we hope this never use to, it is nevertheless important that it is fully functional. When purchasing a Plastimo liferaft us the first free service was promised to do so. The hook here is that the only service points in France, Germany or Austria can be found. The return transport of the 37-pound life raft we would be more expensive than the maintenance here in Italy at a recognized testing laboratory. So do not fall for the bait!
Also, we want to move the cables for our solar modules, charge controller to fit the test and everything. Next, there is still much to our list, let's see what we create everything through Saturday. In any case, not on Friday worked with us, we want to celebrate Hans Peter's birthday with a surprise trip.
