We're really looking forward to our first holiday on the Whisper. Will it meet our expectations? How is the handling of two? These and many other questions we go through the head. To make it to the point, we are excited and confident of our Whisper bought the right boat to have. It gives us confidence and we are confident to make their dreams come true with our dreams.
The first week were Regula and Moritz with the two guys there and we had great weather, good wind and good atmosphere. We sailed across the Adriatic from Lignano to Umag, Croatia, and discovered there together, the pretty town of Istria.

On the voyage accompanied us a little piece of a dolphin family. One stayed longer, so that it was even time to take pictures. to see dolphins up close, I am fascinated every time and again. This smart-looking animals, with its many mysterious stories are a good omen for me to realize our dream really
The northern part of Croatia has beautiful old town. In the summer, but they are occupied with something to many tourists and ships.

After a week of Hans Peter and I sailed alone on over the Kvarner, where they had the opportunity to discover beautiful islands. We like this area better and we look forward to visit the next time even more to many of these islands. This year was the weather in Croatia is not as usual After a week of wonderful weather, sunshine and very warm sea, was an unstable weather that lasted the rest of the holidays, namely two weeks. Alternately, we had days with rain, sun and wind. We sometimes had to hide ourselves in a safe bay. Once we stayed because of erratic weather in a desert, not walk-in bay Unje, four days at anchor. I really enjoyed finally have time to read. Hans Peter has checked during the Miscellaneous or repaired. This calm, but not always caused by the weather, sometimes it was blowing hard and we were glad to be protected, has done us both good.

We also have small islands, Silba, and Ilovik Susak, started with a really pretty little village. The roads are unpaved and cars has not. If something must be transported as tractors with trailers are available.

The food in the restaurant was simple, inexpensive and good. We often ate calamari. Fish costs about 80.00 a kilo Fri (the sea is just ausgefischt!) Saved us on the fish we cook it yourself. Unfortunately, Hans Peter, the fisherman luck has not caught! At best the food was of course anyway on our Whisper. Hans Peter has bought before the holidays still a good gas grill and it and the double-flame gas stove in the ship, he can conjure the best menus. My cook will be the best at all sailing ships in the world!
Resume:
We have experienced a wonderful holiday on our ship. Many things we have tested, tested, and learned to do so. Our old lady has passed the test, we are convinced that we have bought the right ship for our long cruises. Some such as solar panels, wind vane, etc., we need to supplement Passatbesegelung yet. The next holiday we will spend on this work.
Also, we have passed the test, we go to 12 m in length at all on the mind (we knew it before!) And both have the impression that we can enjoy our Whisper as our home for a long time. And we feel safe and secure on our floating home. We are really acquired a taste how the ship life for us two would be for a long time.
Anyway, we are proud of affairs for two, the ship can be and also the docking of 12 m length are always easier.
Unfortunately the time went by much too quickly and we had to again make the return journey.
Back at home a lot of work has been waiting for us. Much must be done. That's just the way with its own business. Before and after the holidays you have stress! Also for the nursery, there are always a lot of prepare.
